GpuFault

Enum GpuFault

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum GpuFault { DeviceLost, DeviceHung, DeviceMemory, HostMemory, Timeout, }
Expand description

What a failed GPU call says about its device, read from the platform status (VkResult, HRESULT or CVReturn) rather than from any message.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

DeviceLost

The device was lost or removed; nothing more runs on it.

§

DeviceHung

The device was reset because work ran too long (DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG).

§

DeviceMemory

The device could not allocate memory of its own.

§

HostMemory

The driver could not allocate host (CPU) memory for the call.

§

Timeout

GPU work the call waited on did not complete within the wait timeout.
