Variants (Non-exhaustive)

InvalidInput(&'static str)

The caller supplied invalid dimensions or a mismatched byte count.

Ffmpeg(RsmpegError)

FFmpeg could not allocate or prepare its destination frame.

FfmpegCode(i32)

An FFmpeg operation returned a negative AVERROR code. Only FFmpeg’s own codes: a platform GPU status is Self::NativeGpu.

NativeGpu(NativeGpuFailure)

A platform GPU call a native interop helper made failed: which API, which step, and the status it returned.

MissingHwDevice(&'static str)

The loaded FFmpeg was built without this hardware device type: which ones it has is a property of the runtime libraries, not of this build.
