Interpolator

Struct Interpolator

Source
pub struct Interpolator { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Band-limited interpolation for clips at non-unity speed, using the same kernel as Resampler at any real source position.

Faster than unity, the cutoff falls to the output Nyquist and the filter widens so content above it is removed rather than aliased; slower, the source Nyquist bounds it. Weights come from one libm table, interpolated linearly and summed in a fixed order, so output is bit-identical natively and in wasm.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Interpolator

Source

pub fn new(speed: f64) -> Self

The filter for speed source samples per output sample; invalid speeds use unity.

Source

pub const fn half_taps(&self) -> i64

Source samples weighed on each side: a position whole + fraction reads whole - half + 1 ..= whole + half.

Source

pub fn weights(&self, fraction: f64, weights: &mut Vec<f64>)

Writes the 2 * half normalized weights for a position fraction (in 0..1) past a source sample.
