The kind of a Credential.

More kinds may follow (a bearer token, request signing keys). An adapter that places credentials itself refuses a kind it does not know with Credential::unsupported.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

ApiKey

The provider’s own API key (Credential::api_key).

Header(String)

An authentication header with this name (Credential::header).
