Lifecycle generation. A capability from another generation is rejected, which is how terminate revokes without distributing a revocation list.

Differs by backend: AWS/Azure allocate a fresh id per sandbox, so a constant carries the whole meaning; GCP has none, so this is the guest’s boot id — which a snapshot restore reports unchanged, so restore and replacement need the resource name too to tell apart.
