Variants

NoRetryNeeded

The attempt succeeded and requires no further recovery action.

DoNotRetry

The attempt was cancelled, dropped, or panicked; do not retry it from this report.

Backoff

Retry may be considered only after bounded capacity evidence supports waiting for the service to drain.

ChangeConfiguration

The attempt cannot succeed until its query, capability selection, or configured resource limits change.

RetryAnotherEligibleDevice

Retry may be considered only on another eligible device after the failed device has been retained in quarantine.

RecoverBackend

The backend must recover before a new attempt can be considered.

Indeterminate

The bounded terminal report cannot truthfully recommend recovery.
