pub struct ShellFormatterConfig {
pub enabled: bool,
pub indent_width: Option<u8>,
}Expand description
Shell formatter (shfmt) opt-in emitted under [fmt.shell.shfmt].
Declared under [workspace.poly.shell-formatter] in alef.toml. Absent
(the default) emits NO [fmt.shell.shfmt] table, leaving the output
byte-identical to the pre-feature default and preserving alef’s
pure-Rust-tooling policy (see poly_toml_never_enables_system_native_formatters).
A consumer repo that needs shell scripts formatted opts in explicitly.
[workspace.poly.shell-formatter]
enabled = true
indent-width = 2Fields§
§enabled: boolWhether the shfmt catalog tool runs at all.
Emitted as enabled in the generated [fmt.shell.shfmt] table.
indent_width: Option<u8>Indent width (in spaces) shfmt uses to reformat shell scripts.
Emitted as indent_width in the generated [fmt.shell.shfmt] table
when set. Absent leaves the key unset, so shfmt falls back to its own
default (tabs).
