Expand description

CREATE SEQUENCE statement — creates a sequence for auto-incrementing counters.

Syntax:

CREATE [OR REPLACE] SEQUENCE [IF NOT EXISTS] name
  [START WITH value]
  [INCREMENT [BY] value]
  [MINVALUE value | NO MINVALUE]
  [MAXVALUE value | NO MAXVALUE]
  [CYCLE | NO CYCLE]

Fields§

§name: String§if_not_exists: bool§or_replace: bool§start_with: Option<i64>

START WITH value. Default: 1 for increment > 0, max_value for increment < 0.

§increment: Option<i64>

INCREMENT BY value. Default: 1.

§min_value: Option<i64>

MINVALUE. Auto-computed from defaults if None.

§max_value: Option<i64>

MAXVALUE. Auto-computed from defaults if None.

§cycle: Option<bool>

CYCLE behavior. Default: false (NO CYCLE).
