pub enum ToolChoice {
Auto,
None,
Required,
Tool {
tool_name: String,
},
}Expand description
How the model should choose tools.
Wire format aligns with Vercel AI SDK toolChoice:
"auto" | "none" | "required" | { "type": "tool", "toolName": "..." }.
This is a mixed tagged/untagged shape (unit variants as bare strings,
Tool variant as a tagged object), so serde is implemented by hand.
Variants§
Auto
Model decides whether to call a tool (default).
None
Model must not call any tools.
Required
Model must call at least one tool.
Tool
Model must call the specified tool.

If the type does have generic parameters, then all generic parameters must be replaced with

fn decl_concrete(cfg: &Config) -> String
Declaration of this type using the supplied generic arguments.
The resulting TypeScript definition will not be generic. For that, see
