UpdateState

Struct UpdateState

Source
pub struct UpdateState {
    pub handed_off: Option<String>,
    pub last_check_ms: i64,
    pub snoozed_version: Option<String>,
}
Expand description

What the tray remembers between checks: when it last asked GitHub, so a restart does not re-poll, and which version the user dismissed, so the same release is not offered again until a newer one appears.

Fields§

§handed_off: Option<String>

The version the tray handed to Scoop and has not seen running yet. The next start clears it when that version arrived, and reports it when Scoop did not deliver it; background checks in Automatic mode never hand it off again.

§last_check_ms: i64§snoozed_version: Option<String>

Implementations§

Source§

impl UpdateState

Source

pub fn load_at(path: &Path) -> UpdateState

Missing or unreadable state is the default: the worst case is one extra poll and one re-shown prompt, which is the safe direction for a corrupt sidecar.

Source

pub fn save_at(&self, path: &Path) -> Result<()>

Atomic write (tempfile + rename), creating the parent directory.
