SessionSearch

Struct SessionSearch

Source
pub struct SessionSearch { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

RAII application root shared by native frontends and language bindings.

Opening an instance applies the configured SQLite contention and performance policy exactly once. Dropping it closes the owned database connection.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SessionSearch

Source

pub fn load() -> Result<Self>

Load platform configuration and open the configured index.

Source

pub fn open(config: Config) -> Result<Self>

Open an index using an explicit configuration.

existing-only opens a SQLite-enforced read-only handle and never creates directories, installs schema objects, refreshes sources, or changes journal policy. SQLite may create or update empty -wal/-shm coordination sidecars when opening a WAL database whose sidecars are absent; it does not modify the durable database contents. Other refresh modes may create a new current-schema database and later perform the configured incremental refresh. Newer, hybrid, and incomplete current schemas fail before an ordinary query.

Source

pub fn open_with_access_inputs( config: Config, access_inputs: TrustedAccessInputs, ) -> Result<Self>

Open an index with trusted runtime roots supplied by a harness integration.

Source

pub const fn config(&self) -> &Config

Effective configuration used by every service handle.

Source

pub const fn access_scope(&self) -> &EffectiveAccessScope

Immutable access authority used by every read service.

Source

pub const fn catalog(&self) -> CatalogService<'_>

Session catalog operations.

Source

pub const fn messages(&self) -> MessageService<'_>

Message search and context operations.

Source

pub fn message_search_batches( &self, request: MessageSearchRequest, batch_rows: NonZeroUsize, ) -> Result<MessageSearchBatches>

Open an exhaustive literal, regex, or queryless search as fully enriched batches on a dedicated read-only connection.

Ordinary callers should prefer MessageService::search, which returns one materialized response. batch_rows trades active memory for handoff and enrichment-query frequency; it does not change result membership, ordering, context, the request-wide union of included data, or terminal metadata. It accepts any positive usize; an allocation failure returns an error that asks for a smaller value.

§Errors

Returns an error when the request selects a finite page or fuzzy matching. Use MessageService::search for those requests.

Source

pub const fn files(&self) -> FileService<'_>

File history operations.

Source

pub const fn exports(&self) -> ExportService<'_>

Destination-independent session export operations.

Source

pub const fn index(&self) -> IndexService<'_>

Index lifecycle operations.

Source

pub const fn maintenance(&self) -> MaintenanceService<'_>

Index diagnostics and destructive maintenance operations.

Source

pub const fn sources(&self) -> SourceService<'_>

Effective provider roots and discovery status.

Source

pub const fn analysis(&self) -> AnalysisService<'_>

Indexed correction, planning, and statistics operations.

Source

pub fn set_progress_reporter( &mut self, reporter: impl Fn(&str) + Send + Sync + 'static, )

Install a frontend-specific progress sink.
