Fields

lines: usize

Number of recent lines to print before tailing. Default 50.

follow: bool

Stream new lines as they arrive (poll-based, ~1s cadence).

follow_interval_ms: u64

Override the poll interval in milliseconds. Default 1000.

max_polls: u64

Stop tailing after this many polls in --follow mode. Tests pass a small bound so the loop terminates deterministically. 0 = no bound.
