pub enum OperationMode {
Install,
Update,
}Expand description
Determines the type of operation being performed for user-facing messages.
This enum distinguishes between install and update operations to provide
appropriate feedback messages and exit codes. Used by shared helper functions
like display_dry_run_results() and display_no_changes() to customize
behavior based on the operation context.
§Examples
use agpm_cli::cli::common::OperationMode;
let mode = OperationMode::Install;
// Used to determine appropriate "no changes" message:
// Install: "No dependencies to install"
// Update: "All dependencies are up to date!"Variants§
Install
Fresh installation operation (agpm install)
Update
Dependency update operation (agpm update)
