how_to_read: String

The listing is only the index; this says how to read an entry. It rides in the result, not only the tool description: after the listing went index-only, agents stopped following ids into get_content (Steward, 2026-09-15).

entries: Vec<GovernanceLogIndexEntry>

omitted: Option<OmittedEntries>

Matching entries the listing left out, and how to list them; absent when nothing was left out

omitted_obligations: Option<OmittedEntries>

Obligation entries and their updates the index left out (0.72): an obligation attached to the entry that created it is shown on that entry and listed by view=obligations, and its updates are shown on it. Absent when nothing was left out

obligations: Option<Vec<ObligationListing>>

view=obligations only: the page of obligations (0.72). entries is then empty

obligations_total: Option<u64>

view=obligations only: how many matched the filters, across every page (0.72)
