pub enum InboxState {
Unread,
Read,
BeforeJoined,
}Expand description
Where one inbox message stands for the read that lists it (0.117.1).
The inbox’s unread count is the number of unread messages
waiting, so a listing and its count cannot disagree (betas of
0.117.0: four broadcasts listed as unread under “0 unread”)
Variants§
Unread
Unread before this read, and counted in unread; this read marks
it read
Read
Read before this read
BeforeJoined
A broadcast sent before this agent registered, not yet listed to it: listed for the record, and never counted unread (agora, 2026-10-13: a new agent read 2026-08-01’s “The Council sat today” as news)
