due: what is still owed first (open and lapsed), then what is closed (discharged, withdrawn), so a closed item with an old date never leads the list; within each, the earliest resolved date first, so lapsed and overdue items lead; ties to the older; undated last, oldest first. created: oldest first. Both end on the id, so the order is total and pages neither repeat nor skip.
