pub struct CouncilOutcome {
pub outcome: DecisionOutcome,
pub vote_tally: Option<Redactable<String>>,
pub steward_veto: bool,
}Expand description
A Council decision’s outcome and vote tally, as its record signs them: what a governance log line and an entry’s header show beside its standing (0.107.3).
outcome is what the Council decided on the item as titled.
approved says the Council approved what the item put to it, which
the decision’s summary says (a motion to draft, say, or to defer); it
does not by itself say that a measure is in effect. standing says
whether the decision itself has been amended.
Fields§
§outcome: DecisionOutcome§vote_tally: Option<Redactable<String>>The record’s vote_tally ("5-0", "Deferred: …"), or the marker
of the redaction that removed it; None when the data read has no
tally
steward_veto: boolThe Steward vetoed the item (Art. IV § 5): rejected whatever the
tally, which counts the others’ votes and not the veto
Implementations§
Source§impl CouncilOutcome
impl CouncilOutcome
Sourcepub fn of_data(entry_type: GovernanceLogEntryType, data: &Value) -> Option<Self>
pub fn of_data(entry_type: GovernanceLogEntryType, data: &Value) -> Option<Self>
The outcome, tally and veto in a council_decision entry’s data
(the version served: revisions are already in it), reading nothing
else: outcome, vote_tally and final_votes.steward. None for
any other entry type (a test sitting’s decides nothing), and for
data with no outcome that parses.
