Working notes content (markdown OK).

symbol: Option<String>

Optional: qualified name of the symbol to attach this note to. In planning mode, the symbol does not need to exist yet.

workflow: Option<String>

Optional: named investigation context (e.g. “tracing-sync-bug”).

ttl_hours: Option<i64>

Optional: time-to-live in hours. When not set, no expiry.

tags: Option<Vec<String>>

Optional: freeform tags.

planning: Option<bool>

When true, marks this entry as pre-implementation planning notes. Adds the “planning” tag automatically. Unresolved symbol names are stored as-is rather than causing an error — useful for naming planned symbols that do not exist in the index yet.
