pub struct DataQuality {
    pub state: String,
    pub reason: String,
    pub expected_after_reset: bool,
}
Expand description

Distinguishes intentional clean-room state from unexpected data loss.

statedensityprior activity?meaning
clean_room0.0nofresh init/clone — expected
unannotated0.0yesindexed but no annotations yet
degraded>0 <5%yesregression — possible state loss
sparse_but_active5–50%yesannotation in progress
populated≥50%—healthy, well-annotated
empty——no symbols — run asd index

Fields§

§state: String

One of: “clean_room” | “sparse_but_active” | “populated” | “degraded” | “empty”.

§reason: String

Human-readable explanation of why this state was inferred.

§expected_after_reset: bool

True when sparse/low state is expected (e.g. after asd init or git clone). False when sparse state is anomalous given prior activity.
