BufferedReporter

Struct BufferedReporter

Source
pub struct BufferedReporter<T: LoopObserver> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Reporter adapter that enqueues events for batch flushing.

Wraps any LoopObserver and delivers events in batches rather than one-at-a-time. This is useful when the inner reporter benefits from amortised work (e.g. a network sink that batches writes).

§Example

use agentkit_reporting::{BufferedReporter, UsageReporter};

// Buffer up to 64 events before forwarding to the inner reporter.
let reporter = BufferedReporter::new(UsageReporter::new(), 64);

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T: LoopObserver> BufferedReporter<T>

Source

pub fn new(inner: T, capacity: usize) -> Self

Creates a new BufferedReporter that buffers up to capacity events before flushing them to inner.

Source

pub fn flush(&self)

Delivers all buffered events to the inner observer and clears the buffer.

Source

pub fn pending(&self) -> usize

Returns the number of events currently buffered.

Source

pub fn inner(&self) -> &T

Returns a reference to the inner observer.

fn drop(&mut self)

Source§

impl<T: LoopObserver> LoopObserver for BufferedReporter<T>

Source§

fn handle_event(&self, event: AgentEvent)

Called synchronously for every AgentEvent emitted by the loop driver. Observers store mutable state behind interior mutability (Mutex, atomics, channels) so the driver can share an Arc<dyn LoopObserver> across reusable Agent starts.
