original_count: usize

Number of messages before compaction.

new_count: usize

Number of messages after compaction.

original_tokens: usize

Estimated tokens before compaction.

new_tokens: usize

Estimated tokens after compaction.

llm_usage: TokenUsage

Provider-billed usage of the summarization LLM call(s) that produced this result (zero when compaction completed without an LLM call).

Surfaced so the agent loop can fold compaction spend into the run’s cumulative usage — otherwise summarization tokens would be invisible to UsageLimits budgets and under-reported on Done.
