pub enum ScopeRelation {
Equal,
Subset,
Superset,
Incomparable,
Unknown,
}Expand description
How a resolved scope stands relative to a bounding scope (does the fence stay within what was authorized?).
Variants§
Equal
The resolved scope equals the bound.
Subset
The resolved scope is a subset of the bound (more confined — fine).
Superset
The resolved scope is a superset of the bound — it widens authority beyond what was granted (the OCAP bug this whole layer exists to catch).
Incomparable
Neither contains the other.
Unknown
Not decidable in the portable lattice (an Unknown operand) → treated as
fail-closed by admit.
