Fidelity of the trace a driver can produce. A metric may never claim more than its trace can support, so this is part of the contract rather than an operational detail.

Variants

Driver

An external driver reconstructs turn boundaries; tool calls are only as trustworthy as the agent’s self-report.

Runtime

The runtime writes trace events itself: tool calls, retries, per-turn latency and token usage are all authoritative.
