#[non_exhaustive]pub struct CancelTerminalRequest {
pub session_id: SessionId,
pub terminal_id: TerminalId,
pub meta: Option<Meta>,
}unstable_protocol_v2 only.Expand description
Request parameters for cancelling one terminal.
Clients MUST NOT send it unless the terminal currently advertises capabilities.cancel.
The Agent responds once it has accepted the cancellation. The response does not mean
the work has stopped. The Agent confirms it with a terminal_update that sets
exitStatus. Cancelling stops the process but does not release the terminal, and does
not change the status of a tool call that references it.
The Agent responds with -32602 if the terminal is unknown, has already exited, or is not
cancellable. Cancelling a terminal does not change the foreground state by itself.
See protocol docs: Cancelling Terminals
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.session_id: SessionIdThe ID of the session that owns the terminal.
terminal_id: TerminalIdThe ID of the terminal to cancel.
meta: Option<Meta>The _meta property is reserved by ACP to allow clients and agents to attach additional
metadata to their interactions. Omitted and null are equivalent and mean no metadata.
Implementations MUST NOT assign meaning to keys they do not recognize.
See protocol docs: Extensibility

Sourcepub fn new(

pub fn new( session_id: impl Into<SessionId>, terminal_id: impl Into<TerminalId>, ) -> Self
Builds CancelTerminalRequest with the required request fields set. Optional fields start unset or empty.
