UNSTABLE

This capability is not part of the spec yet, and may be removed or changed at any point.

Notification sent by the agent when its authentication status changes.

Carries the same fields as the auth/status response. Agents that advertise the auth.status capability MAY send it at any time after initialize, and SHOULD only send it when the reported status differs from the last one sent on the connection.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

state: AuthState

Whether the agent can start sessions without the user signing in first.

This is the only field clients should act on. Clients MUST treat values they do not recognize as unknown.

accounts: Vec<AuthAccount>

The accounts the agent has configured, for display.

Optional. Omitted and empty are equivalent and mean no accounts are reported. Agents that hold credentials for several providers or accounts SHOULD list each of them and mark the ones in effect with active.

meta: Option<Meta>

The _meta property is reserved by ACP to allow clients and agents to attach additional metadata to their interactions. Omitted and null are equivalent and mean no metadata. Implementations MUST NOT assign meaning to keys they do not recognize.
