Whether the Agent has a session in memory, as reported by session/status.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Open

The Agent has the session in memory, for any connection.

This does not mean the requesting connection is attached to it. A Client that did not create or resume the session on its own connection MUST still call session/load or session/resume before sending session/prompt or expecting session/update notifications.

Saved

The Agent knows the session and can resume it, but does not have it in memory.

The Client can call session/load or session/resume to start it.

Other(String)

Custom or future session status.

Values beginning with _ are reserved for implementation-specific extensions. Unknown values that do not begin with _ are reserved for future ACP variants. Clients MUST treat a value they do not recognize as saved.
