Simple histogram for latency distribution tracking

§Educational: Why a histogram?

Averages hide problems! Consider:

Average wait: 10ms (looks fine)
But P99 wait: 500ms (users experience terrible latency!)

Histograms show the full distribution, revealing tail latencies.
