Expand description

Filesystem work emitted by the compatibility state machine.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

CaptureCommit

Capture a compatibility-eligible generation before recording a commit.

Fields

§workspace_tree: GitTreeRef

Complete live workspace tree.

§head_tree: Option<GitTreeRef>

Previous filtered compatibility tree, if HEAD exists.

§head_workspace_tree: Box<Option<GitTreeRef>>

Previous complete live tree, if recorded by HEAD.

§tracked_paths: BTreeSet<String>

Paths already tracked and therefore eligible even if newly ignored.

§message: String

Commit message retained until capture completes.

§author: String

Author retained until capture completes.

§authored_at_seconds: i64

Signed Unix epoch timestamp retained until capture completes.

§expected_head: Option<GitCommitId>

Exact HEAD that must still be current at completion.

§

ForkBranch

Fork a dedicated SDK workspace for a compatibility branch.

Fields

§branch: String

New branch name.

§source_tree: GitTreeRef

Tree from which to fork the branch workspace.

§head: Option<GitCommitId>

Compatibility head inherited by the new branch.

§switch: bool

Whether the new branch should become current after registration.

§

SwitchWorkspace

Select an existing branch’s live SDK workspace.

Fields

§workspace_id: WorkspaceId

Workspace that owns the destination branch’s working copy.

§

Diff

Compute a semantic diff between exact generations.

Fields

§from: Option<GitTreeRef>

Explicit compatibility HEAD, or no baseline for an unborn branch.

§to: GitTreeRef

Live workspace generation.

§tracked_paths: BTreeSet<String>

Already tracked paths remain visible even if later ignored.

§

RestoreGeneration

Move the live workspace to an exact generation.

Fields

§tree: GitTreeRef

Tree to install.

§paths: Option<BTreeSet<String>>

Paths participating in a compatibility-history restore. None requests an exact same-workspace head restoration (for stash).

§

RestorePaths

Restore selected paths from an exact generation.

Fields

§tree: GitTreeRef

Source tree.

§paths: Vec<String>

Portable paths to replace.

§

Join

Join a source workspace into the current workspace.

Fields

§target_tree: GitTreeRef

Exact target working tree captured before the join began.

§source_workspace: WorkspaceId

Workspace owning the source branch.

Complete set of paths that may remain tracked after the join.

§

ApplyCommit

Apply one commit relative to its first parent.

Fields

§commit: GitCommitId

Explicit compatibility commit.

§base: Option<GitTreeRef>

Exact earlier tree, or the empty compatibility tree.

§source: Option<GitTreeRef>

Exact later tree, or the empty compatibility tree.

§paths: BTreeSet<String>

Complete portable path set participating in the delta.

§tracked_paths: BTreeSet<String>

Complete set of paths that may remain tracked after application.
