Re-issue credentials for an existing actor when its renewal token can no longer be used. The nested registration request re-authenticates the workload (manufacturer proof for packages, realm authorization for linked workloads), while actr_id identifies the stable runtime identity that must be preserved.

Fields

actr_id: ActrId

registration: RegisterRequest

renewal_proof: Option<Bytes>

Proof that the caller owns exactly this actr_id: the raw renewal token most recently issued to that actor (possibly expired). AIS matches its hash against the issuer-recorded token bindings for actr_id and rejects the reissue when no binding matches, so a workload cannot mint credentials for another same-realm/type actor or an arbitrary serial.
