UniqueId

Struct UniqueId

Source
pub struct UniqueId { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An opaque byte sequence of up to 128 bytes generated by the upstream proxy that uniquely identifies the connection.

The unique ID can be used to easily correlate connections across multiple layers of proxies, without needing to look up IP addresses and port numbers.

Implementations§

Source§

impl UniqueId

Source

pub fn new(id: impl Into<Vec<u8>>) -> UniqueId

Constructs a new unique ID TLV.

§Panics

Panics if value is 0 bytes or larger than 128 bytes.

Source

pub fn as_bytes(&self) -> &[u8]

Returns the unique ID bytes.

impl Eq for UniqueId

Source§

impl PartialEq for UniqueId

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &UniqueId) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.

Source§

const TYPE: u8 = PP2_TYPE_UNIQUE_ID

Numeric TLV type identifier.
Source§

fn try_from_value(value: &[u8]) -> Option<UniqueId>

Attempts to decode a TLV value payload.
Source§

fn value_bytes(&self) -> Cow<'_, [u8]>

Serializes this TLV’s value payload.
Source§

fn try_from_parts(typ: u8, value: &[u8]) -> Option<Self>

Attempts to decode a TLV from its type identifier and value payload.
