PrimitiveArray

Struct PrimitiveArray

Source
pub struct PrimitiveArray<T> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A typed fixed-width array with optional row validity.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> PrimitiveArray<T>

Source

pub fn new(values: Vec<T>, validity: Option<Vec<bool>>) -> Self

Construct a primitive array with an optional row-validity bitmap.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

The logical row count.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether this array has no rows.

Source

pub fn values(&self) -> &[T]

The stored values, including the value slot at null positions.

Source

pub fn validity(&self) -> Option<&[bool]>

The optional validity bitmap. A set bit means the value is present.

Source

pub fn is_null(&self, index: usize) -> bool

Whether the logical position at index is null.

A position outside the array is not null, the same answer a non-nullable array gives for any index. Bound the index with len to tell the two apart.
