Component metadata stored in the act:component WASM custom section (CBOR-encoded).

Used by SDK macros (serialization) and host (deserialization). Standard WASM metadata fields (version, description) may also be read from their respective custom sections as fallback.

Extra keys (not matching std:* fields) are collected into metadata.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
