act:sessions/types.session — re-exported from the generated bindings so callers keep referring to sessions::Session. Component-side state container.

Hosts and intermediaries (bridges, toolservers, harnesses) MAY rewrite id when forwarding to agents — typically a 1-to-1 NAT-style mapping. Components MUST treat their own session-id values as opaque to the outside world; the id an agent sees may differ from what the component issued.

Fields§

§id: String

Component-chosen identifier. Format opaque to host. Components SHOULD use globally unique values (e.g. UUIDs) to avoid id reuse across sessions.

§metadata: Metadata

Session-scoped metadata. Hints to the host. Well-known keys are registered in ACT-CONSTANTS.md.
