Receipt-key status (RFC-ACDP-0010 §8 step 1, 0.5.0).

From a consumer’s vantage a retired receipt key and a key that was never a receipt key look the same, so the status is reported rather than inferred: a receipt verified under a Self::Historical key MUST NOT be presented as a currently-authorized registry attestation, and under the strict profile it cannot place a revoked-key context before the compromise boundary (RFC-ACDP-0014 §7 step 1).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Current

The receipt key is referenced by the registry DID document’s assertionMethod.

Historical

The receipt key is present in verificationMethod only.
