Layout pass selection. The vocabulary may grow with the crate’s passes, hence #[non_exhaustive] (ADR-0003 §3); constructing the existing variants stays stable.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Layered(LayeredOpts)

Sugiyama-lite (the workflow/DAG path) — the default.

Force(ForceOpts)

Bounded seeded force placement (the knowledge-graph path).

Grid

Labeled near-square grid (the honest fallback, explicitly).
