Expand description

A node in the merged-grammar arena.

Mirrors Element, except that children are NodeIds rather than boxes, and rule references carry no resolution — resolution lives in a side table indexed by node id, so that lowering needs no placeholder value.

Variants§

§

Alt

a / b / c.

Fields

§branches: Vec<NodeId>

The branches, in source order. Branch indices are part of coverage-unit identity.

§

Concat

a b c.

Fields

§items: Vec<NodeId>

The items, in source order.

§

Repeat

2*5a.

Fields

§repeat: Repeat

The bounds.

§body: NodeId

The repeated node.

§span: Ignored<Span>

Where the bounds sit in the source.

§

Optional

[a], modeled as a / empty for coverage purposes.

Fields

§body: NodeId

The optional node.

§

RuleRef

A reference to another rule, resolved via the side table.

Fields

§name: RuleName

The referenced name.

§span: Ignored<Span>

Where the reference sits in the source.

§

CharVal(CharVal)

A quoted string terminal.

§

NumVal

A numeric terminal.

Fields

§value: NumVal

The value.

§span: Ignored<Span>

Where it sits in the source.

§

ProseVal(String)

<prose>.
