Variants

NotFound(AgentId)

No agent with this id has been provisioned.

AlreadyRunning(AgentId)

start was called on an agent that is already running.

Spawn

The agent process could not be spawned.

Fields

id: AgentId

The agent that failed to start.

source: Error

The underlying spawn error.

Config(String)

The agent’s config could not be loaded while building its spec.

Backend(String)

The runtime backend (container engine, etc.) reported a failure — a non-zero docker/podman exit, or the engine binary being unavailable.

DisallowedEnv(String)

The config references environment variables the operator has not permitted deployed agents to read. See EnvAllowlist.

Unsupported

This backend cannot serve the operation at all — as distinct from trying and failing (Backend). Carries what would have to change, because “not supported” on its own leaves the operator with nowhere to go.
