Provenance and execution details for a fitted surface.

Fields§

§path: FitPath

The recognition or refinement path used.

§supplied_surface: Option<AnalyticSurface>

Carrier supplied by metadata, when one was available.

§fixed_parameters: ConstraintMask

Supplied parameter groups held fixed during refinement.

§parameters_refined: bool

Whether numerical refinement changed carrier parameters.

§generic_classification_skipped: bool

Whether metadata made generic primitive classification unnecessary.

§exact_parameters_reused: bool

Whether exact supplied parameters were returned unchanged.

§hypotheses_generated: usize

Number of hypotheses generated during recognition.

§candidates_evaluated: usize

Number of candidate carriers evaluated.

§reason: String

Human-readable summary of why this path or result was selected.

§rejected_competitors: Vec<(SurfaceType, String)>

Primitive competitors rejected during selection and their reasons.

§metadata_trust: MetadataTrust

Trust attached to the selected input path (Unknown and TypeOnly are recorded explicitly even though they carry no numeric prior).

§initial_error: Option<GeometricError>

Geometric residual before refinement when an initial carrier exists.

§refined_error: Option<GeometricError>

Geometric residual of the returned carrier.

§parameter_delta: Option<SurfaceParameterDelta>

Gauge-aware parameter change from initial/supplied to returned carrier.

§phase_timings: PhaseTimings

Optional wall-clock timing measurements by recognition phase.
