A pre-defined registry bundled with Zoi.

These are defined in crates/core/src/builtin/registries/<handle>.yaml and are embedded into the binary at compile time. They describe registries that Zoi recognizes out of the box for convenience and UX, but they are still third-party registries. The only official registry for Zoi is the one marked with set: true (Zoidberg), all the others should be treated with care.

Fields

version: String

The specification version of the registry definition.

handle: String

The unique handle/short identifier of the registry.

name: String

The human-readable display name of the registry.

description: String

A short description of the registry’s purpose.

git: String

The Git URL of the registry repository.

branch: String

The default branch to fetch from the Git repository.

registry_type: String

The type of the registry (e.g. “official” or “third-party”). Just like the type field of a repo in a registry’s repo.yaml.

set: bool

Whether this registry is the single set (default) registry for Zoi.
