Fields

name: String

Name of the alternative group, e.g. awk.

All implementations of one command share this name. The state directory under /var/lib/zoi/alternatives is keyed by it, and /etc/alternatives/<name> is the symlink clients resolve through.

path: String

Absolute path of this implementation, e.g. /usr/bin/gawk.

link: String

Absolute path of the link to create, e.g. /usr/bin/awk.

priority: i32

Higher wins. Defaults to 100.
