Source inspection and explicit data edits over the retained MiniZinc CST.
Input owns original bytes and the CST. Query parses a fixed pipeline
for navigating nodes, inspecting literals or editing data collections/assignments.
Results stay native until source or JSON rendering. Source rendering retains
original bytes, including opaque comment bytes. Literal inspection and
comparisons are bounded and never evaluate computed input expressions or
includes. Program constructs reports and atomic model-backed data batches through Zirql.
Modules§
Structs§
- Capture
Matches - Native match rows retain their declared fields even when no candidate matches.
- Input
- Read-only original input and its byte-preserving parser view.
- Input
Error - Json
Result - A validated JSON emitter retaining the native result until rendering.
- Limits
- Finite bounds for query evaluation and expansion.
workcounts stage visits and scans, including model tokens and CST nodes admitted once before semantic fact allocation. It is not a wall-clock bound.collectionbounds produced selections, results and expansion frontiers; loaded model source tokens/nodes do not consume this result allowance.nestinglowers the ceiling of 64 query parentheses/notoperators and recursive literal levels. - Literal
Entry - Literal
Field - Literal
Label - A field label is distinct from an enum member or string value.
- Literal
Row - Literal
Selection - Literal
Value - One literal with original source spelling and byte coordinates.
- Node
Selection - Parameter
Declaration - Immutable request metadata retained beside a host’s lowered program. Text frontends introduce the name into scope at its written declaration, checking host reserved names and later binding/generator/projection collisions.
- Program
- Program
Emission - Program
Limits - Program bounds retain the single-pipeline stream ceiling and add a request allowance for produced/copied native entries. Model tokens consume work.
- Program
Result - Successful evaluation returns all emission requests together. No callback runs during evaluation. Rendering spends the same request budget and callers should commit the returned bytes only after rendering succeeds.
- Query
- One fixed-stage query. Empty text selects and emits the original document.
- Query
Error - Reduction
Result - An inspectable, reparsed candidate. Only complete candidates may be written.
- Selected
Item - One retained item. Ranges use original input coordinates; the borrowed CST
node itself uses the parser’s coordinates described by
Input::syntax. - Selected
Node - One original CST node, with its original-file byte coordinates.
- Selection
- Semantic
Instantiation - Semantic
Result - Native inspection with immutable source owners and only demanded fact families. The input and model must outlive this result. Locations include each file’s BOM; declaration owning CST ranges remain in the fact API’s BOM-stripped coordinates.
- Semantic
Type - Source
Copies - Opaque source fragments tied to their original input and model-fact owner. Values are created by clone/repeat stages and consumed by append statements.
- Unresolved
Dependency
Enums§
- Array
Indexing - Written indexing form; a starting key does not establish bare-tail identities.
- Constructed
Value - Owned constructed data. Arrays have positive one-based positions. Tuples and
records retain field order; sets retain each first inserted element.
Keyed arrays retain nonzero typed axes and sparse row-major entries; supplied
axes need not be contiguous or cover a full Cartesian product.
Public construction is checked by the budgeted entry points before use.
Derived Rust equality compares stored representations. Language set and
dictionary equality compares membership and associations respectively.
There is deliberately no deep
Clone; usecopy_constructed_value. - Error
Location - Coordinate space of a query failure.
- Item
Kind - Accepted
kindpredicate values, independent of expression node kinds. - Literal
Kind - Recursive inspection data, without evaluating computed expressions.
- Parameter
Inputs - Borrowed caller values. CLI hosts collect raw arguments without decoding or substituting them into source; library callers supply exact scalar values.
- Parameter
Type - Required caller inputs support exactly these three scalar types.
- Program
Native - Typed native stages use the same selection and collection execution as text.
- Query
Result - Report
Value - Native report leaves retain source selections and semantic identities. Constructed values have no input-source ranges; record labels preserve order.
- Semantic
Entity - Identities belong to
SemanticResult::bindings, independently of CST identity. - Semantic
Stream - Semantic
Subject - A type or instantiation belongs to this exact declaration, occurrence or node.
Type Aliases§
- Program
Function - A typed pure function with located pattern parameters and unresolved host types.
- Program
Value - A typed value whose native leaves are shared expression wrappers around Query. The wrapper permits flat native pipelines to be released iteratively.
