Shell execution boundary shared by embedded and daemon-backed runtimes.
Structs§
- Bash
Command Runtime Result - Internal orchestration details layered around the stable public
BashCommandResult. Adding a separate type avoids adding required fields to the existing public result struct. - Embedded
Shell Runtime - Current in-process runtime. It intentionally delegates to the existing implementation so introducing the boundary does not change behavior.
- Session
Store - Single index for main and background terminals in the embedded runtime.
- Shell
Action Options - Shell
Execution Token - Shell
Session Configuration - Shell
Session Status - Observational snapshot of one shell session, answered by
Initialize(type = "status")without touching the PTY.
Enums§
- Runtime
Mode - Shell
Session Transition - State transition requested by the Initialize tool.
- Shell
Target - Stable address of a terminal within one logical session.
Traits§
- Shell
Runtime - Narrow process-agnostic boundary for
BashCommandexecution.
Functions§
- configured_
daemon_ binary - configured_
runtime_ mode - configured_
shell_ runtime - ensure_
control_ daemon_ at - Ensure the current control-plane feature set is reachable. An older
winxdthat advertises safe planned restarts is replaced in place; per-session guardians keep owning their PTYs throughout the control-plane transition. - ensure_
daemon_ at - Ensure a compatible daemon is reachable, starting
daemon_binaryonly when the socket cannot be reached. A reachable incompatible daemon is never replaced or killed. - restart_
control_ daemon_ at - Safely restart only
winxd; guardian processes and their PTYs remain alive. - select_
runtime_ mode - Pure runtime-mode selection, kept separate from process spawning so its default and kill switches are deterministic under test.
