Long-lived shell daemon and its JSON-RPC client. The transport is a Unix-domain socket on Unix and a named pipe on Windows.
Modules§
- exit
- Why a daemon process stopped, recorded beside its socket.
- transport
- Control-plane transport: Unix-domain sockets on Unix, named pipes on Windows.
Structs§
- Control
Server - Stable control plane. Each logical session is owned by a separate guardian process, so restarting this process does not close any PTY master.
- Daemon
Client - Control-plane client used by the CLI and reconnection tests.
- Daemon
Server - Long-lived JSON-RPC shell owner listening on the daemon transport.
- Daemon
Shell Runtime - Shell runtime backed by a
winxdUnix-domain socket. - Daemon
Socket Candidate - One socket location that may contain a Winx control daemon.

BOUND_ ACTIONS_ CAPABILITY - MAX_
FRAME_ BYTES - PROCESS_
SHUTDOWN_ CAPABILITY - The process exits cleanly on a
winx.shutdownrequest; Windows has no SIGTERM, so this is the only graceful stop there. - PROTOCOL_

Functions§
- default_
socket_ path - Resolve the canonical control-daemon socket without creating filesystem state.
- socket_
candidates - Enumerate canonical and legacy socket locations for diagnostics.
