Result of Compare::compare

Variants§

§

Ok(usize)

Comparison was successful

usize is the end of the successful match within the buffer. This is most relevant for caseless UTF-8 where Compare::compare’s parameter might be a different length than the match within the buffer.

§

Incomplete

We need more data to be sure

§

Error

Comparison failed

impl PartialEq for CompareResult

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &CompareResult) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
