Function backend_name 

pub fn backend_name(device: &Device) -> &'static str

Returns a human-readable name of the wgpu backend powering device.

Useful for eprintln!/log lines on startup so the active graphics API is visible without rebuilding with RUST_LOG=wgpu=debug. Returns "Unknown" when the backend can’t be detected (e.g. no as_hal impl matches).
