Describes how the value sampled from a mipmap should be calculated from the selected
pixels, for the Linear
and Cubic
filters.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
WeightedAverage = 0
Calculates a weighted average of the selected pixels. For Linear
filtering the pixels
are evenly weighted, for Cubic
filtering they use Catmull-Rom weights.
Min = 1
Calculates the minimum of the selected pixels.
The sampler_filter_minmax
feature or the
ext_sampler_filter_minmax
extension must be enabled on the device.
Max = 2
Calculates the maximum of the selected pixels.
The sampler_filter_minmax
feature or the
ext_sampler_filter_minmax
extension must be enabled on the device.
