Function write_inline_2s

pub fn write_inline_2s(arena: &Arena, word_offset: u32, value: u64) -> bool

Writes value at word_offset iff it differs from the currently-stored value (plain u64 equality – ST-102’s “without any mask comparison”: there is no mask half in this family to compare). Returns whether a real change occurred.
