Module problem 

Composer’s explanations of an unsolvable set: port of SolverProblemsException::getPrettyString, Problem::getPrettyString (with getMissingPackageReason, getPackageList, formatDeduplicatedRules…) and Rule::getPrettyString (docs/reference/resolver/). The text is Composer’s --no-ansi rendering: the output styles (<error>, <warning>, <info>, <comment>, <href=…>) are stripped, any other angle-bracket text is kept verbatim.

The repository lookups of the reference (RepositorySet::findPackages, getProviders) load metadata, hence the mutable arena; the pool must be the one the solver ran on (removed versions, policy removals).

PHP 8 <=> on strings: two numeric strings compare as numbers.

strip_output_styles

Symfony’s OutputFormatter without decoration: the known styles and <href=…> disappear, everything else (<https://…>) is printed as is.
