Crate uv_metadata 

Read metadata from wheels and source distributions.

This module reads all fields exhaustively. The fields are defined in the Core metadata specification.

The stem of a .dist-info directory whose normalized form starts with the expected package name.

Find the .dist-info directory in a zipped wheel.

find_flat_dist_info

Find the .dist-info directory in an unzipped wheel.

read_archive_metadata

Given an archive, read the METADATA from the .dist-info directory.

read_flat_wheel_metadata

Read the ResolutionMetadata from an unzipped wheel.

read_metadata_async_stream

Read METADATA and, for a variant wheel, validate variant.json in the same pass.

read_wheel_variant

Read a wheel’s variant.json and check that it describes the variant named in the filename.

validate_archive_variant

Validate the variant.json next to the wheel’s METADATA before using it for resolution.
