Shared TypeDB driver runtime.
This crate owns all direct TypeDB driver interaction so higher-level crates can share version gating, gRPC fallback, database lifecycle, transactions, and JSON conversion without depending on each other.
Structs§
- Connect
Options - Connection-time options for the version-gated TypeDB runtime.
- Given
Rows Spec - Input rows for a
given-stage query: a variable header plus value rows. - Query
V2Runtime Answer Limits - V2-only runtime limits layered over the released answer-limit shape.
- Runtime
Answer Cancellation - Cooperative cancellation shared with the ORM answer policy.
- Runtime
Answer Limits - Hard limits checked while polling a real driver answer stream.
- Runtime
Answer Stats - Bounded stream counters returned without materializing all items.
- Runtime
Transaction - Open TypeDB transaction owned by the shared runtime.
- Secure
Connect Options - Connection options for the typed TLS transport surface.
- TypeDB
Runtime - Real TypeDB backend wrapping an internal band-tagged driver handle.
Enums§
- Commit
Failure Certainty - How confidently a failed commit can be classified without observing server state.
- Given
Value - A single value bound to a
givenvariable, band-agnostic and serializable. - Query
Result - Result of a query execution after conversion from TypeDB stream types.
- Runtime
Answer Control - Whether the answer consumer needs another driver item.
- Runtime
Answer Item - One item read from a TypeDB concept answer stream.
- Runtime
Answer Kind - Provider answer kind, retained even for an empty stream.
- Runtime
Commit Error - A classified result available to recovery-aware internal commit callers.
- Runtime
Error - Runtime error type for direct TypeDB driver operations.
- Secure
Connect Error - Error returned by typed secure connection and lifecycle entry points.
- TlsMode
- Canonical TLS policy for secure TypeDB connections.
- TxType
- Transaction type for TypeDB operations.
Constants§
- PINNED_
DRIVER_ VERSION - The compile-pinned band-8 driver fork version resolved in
Cargo.lock. - PINNED_
DRIVER_ VERSION_ B9 - The compile-pinned version of the upstream band-9
typedb-drivercrate this runtime crate was built against.
Functions§
- database_
exists - Check whether a TypeDB database exists without creating it.
- database_
exists_ secure - Check whether a TypeDB database exists using an explicit typed TLS policy.
- delete_
database_ secure - Connect securely and delete a TypeDB database.
- embedded_
driver_ versions - Return the driver versions compiled into this build, keyed by protocol band.
- ensure_
database_ exists - Ensure a TypeDB database exists, creating it if absent.
- ensure_
database_ exists_ secure - Ensure a TypeDB database exists using an explicit typed TLS policy.
Type Aliases§
- BoxFuture
- Boxed future returned by async runtime methods.
- Result
- Convenience result alias for runtime operations.
- Secure
Result - Result alias for typed secure connection and lifecycle operations.
